This paper is dedicated to the process the exiting the EU. There are several parts.
First part is the introductory part, where is a short description of the state of play and the legal background. The second part describes the events in the EU, there is a chapter about the referendum from June 2016, and there is described the following political development.
There is mentioned the official notification of the withdrawal according to article 50 of the TEU. In the paper is also presented the EU (Withdrawal) Bill and the positions of the UK, including the speech of Theresa May from September 2017 in Florence.
The third part describes the events in the EU-27, especially the documents published. This part also presents the views of the national parliaments.
The fourth part is describing the state of play and especially the beginning of the second negotiation phase. The following two chapters are dedicated to the views of Visegrad Group and of the Czech Republic.
Finally there are presented the possible future scenarios, impacts of Brexit and also the question of the moving of the EU Agencies from London.
