Abstract
The contribution deals with the garrison hospital in Prague, including its branches, and Prague reserve and provisional hospitals during the First World War, while putting special emphasis on the year 1915. It informs about the location, the capacity and medical specializations of each of these hospitals.
Medical service in Prague hospitals was mostly practiced by Prague university professors and senior lecturers as well as official, elderly or civilian doctors unfit for military service, who receive much of the authors' attention. The text also looks at the system of patient transportation within the city of Prague.
