Structures, forms and legitimity of power in the Andean region in the 14th century

Abstract

The chapter was dedicated to the problems of the study of structures of power of Andean civilizations (especially the so called Chimu Empire and Inca Empire) in the 14th century. Special attention was dedicated to the methodological questions (absence of writing in these civilizations, the need to combine interpretation or achaeological sources and colonial documentation).
