The distance and the nearness: Landscape painting of the 19th century. Northern Bohemia

Abstract

This is the first publication which analysis production of drawings, art prints and landscape paintings in relation to the region of northern Bohemia during the 19th century in both broader scope and details. The artists were professionals trained either in Prague or in Dresden, mainly.

Some other of them were amateurs. Many of artist were born in the region and some of them lived there.

Few of artist were known internationally, too.
