Abstract

Data on a representative data set of convicts (N = 5,708) monitors the risk of recidivism in terms of blame, motivation to change, and type of problems that the perpetrator will have to deal with after his / her return. The analysis shows that in part of the convicted, their opinion is rather a reaction to the situation and has no clear relation to the recidivism, but the rejection of guilt remains a risky factor.
