Social Workers about the Professionalization of Social Work in the Czech Republic

Abstract

This article brings an overview of self-perceiving of professional social workers in the Czech Republic. The results of the set of discussions with social workers and other professionals (educators, public administration officers) are being presented.

The paper presents opinions and experiences of social workers in confrontation of perceiving of their profession by another professional and outsiders.
