The chapter presents a comparison of two representatives of experimental poetry: Czech poet Emil Juliš (1920-2006) and Russian writer, performer and visual artist Dmitrij Prigov (1940-2007). The main goal is to focus both on the parallels and the differences between both of these writers.
While Juliš's writing is, to a large extent, based on the principle of variation, Prigov shows to be more radical in the way he works with the form of dialogue.
