Communist Party of Czechoslovakia as a Child of Red October : The Revolutionaries of the First Republic

Abstract

Communist historiography held the attitude that without the October Revolution were the creation of the independent Czechoslovak Republic impossible. This thesis is considered to be just historical myth nowadays.

However, the influence of revolutionary events in Russia on young republic is cannot be underestimated. The division of social democratic party and creation of communist party affected the First Czechoslovak Republic from the start of their existence.
