Abstract
The book describes and evaluates the hitherto results of the Czech archaeological explorations on the pyramid field at Abusir, including the major recent discoveries. It deals with the main monuments at Abusir - pyramids, temples, tombs - and the the relevant historical problems.
Attention is also paid to the papyri discovered at Abusir and the royal cults which the former attest.
