Abstract
Making contacts with children online for the purpose of their sexual abuse has been known in the internet world for some time now. Criminal law responded to one of its attributes - attracting victims to a personal encounter - by criminalization of illegal contacts with the child (Section 193b of the Criminal Code).
The article briefly focuses on cybergrooming and the first cases of application of this new offence in criminal proceedings.
