Abstract
The Czech Encyclopaedia of Sociology in its first stage integrates the Great Dictionary of Sociology from 1996 as the most important, most comprehensive and most up-to-date disciplinary dictionary; also the Dictionary of Czech Sociologists from 2013 and the newly authored Dictionary of Institutional Background of Czech Sociology that includes the disciplinary societies and periodicals, universities, research institutes and other organizations and corporations with a relationship to sociology. Zdeněk Nešpor is the main editor. Dr.
Jan Dvořák carried out the technical tasks of the creation of the internet Encyclopaedia of Sociology. This included setting up the portal and creating the navigation structure; he also processed the text contents and realized the interlinking of the three distinct dictionaries.
