A set for spectroscopic determination of sodium dodecyl sulphate in an aqueous environment

Publication

Abstract

Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is among the surfactants that are part of many cleaning and hygiene products (engine degreasers, floor cleaners or car washing, at lower concentrations also used in toothpastes, shampoos and shaving foams). In addition, this important substance is often used in biochemical and analytical laboratories (protein electrophoresis, determination of ions by capillary electrophoresis, etc.) The present invention relates to a kit for the spectroscopic determination of sodium dodecylsulfate in an aqueous medium.
