Abstract
The text is an introduction to a volume dedicated to the migration crisis of 2015 and the reactions of the V4 countries - Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. It outlines some of the basic theoretical concepts with regards to migration policies, perception of migrants/refugees and impact of the migration crises on the political scene.
