Abstract
Based on the literary review, an annotated list of 29 global driving forces related to the development of the Czech energy sector by 2050 has been prepared. This list was interwoven in the STEEP analytical framework on social, technological, environmental, economic and (geo) political factors.
After this decomposition, a conceptual model of these forces' relationships with perceived causality was created. Based on this model, the aggregation of these driving forces was created on 12 groups and these groups were defined by the variant development trajectories, which will be used next year to define contextual scenarios of the Czech energy development.
