Abstract

This overview study deals with the development of the andragogy and the theory of adult learning in the Czech Republic after 1989. It describes theoretical approaches and andragogical specializations in the context of European integration and presents some of the key aspects of the main schools of thought in today's andragogical thinking in the Czech Republic.

It also considers the possible utilization of theoretical knowledge and findings in the area of adult education practice.
