Abstract
The contribution on the conference Social pedagogy, its sources and overlaps presented social farming as an interdisciplinary discipline, where social pedagogy and social work has its application. Social pedagogy focuses on the growth, development and self-actualisation of individuals in their social environment.
The social farm as a subject of social farming creates such a stimulating environment. A social farmer is also a teacher and a model that helps a disadvantaged individual on the road to life.
