Abstract
Zuzana Svobodová's contribution entitled Jesus as Teacher is concerned with the concept of Christ as teacher within Christology of Prof. Zdeněk Sázava, mainly based on his work Mistr a Pán ("Master and Lord", Prague: Blahoslav 1988).
This Christology and its topicality are reflected upon vis-a-vis the testimony of the New Testament, at a period in time, which Prof. Radim Palouš called "The time of education".
The multiple notions of the teacher and education as shown the biblical record are analyzed in the context of Patočka's reflection on the basic approaches to education and training in his book "Philosophy of Education".
