The author follows the beginnings of the use of formularies in the Czech lands, the origin of the oldest chancellery and study aids of this type, their development and their survivance until the beginning of the 14th century. Particular attention is paid to the formulary by Henricus Italicus of the 70s of the 13th century and its extension in the formulary by Zdeněk of Třebíč from 1292.
Attention is also paid to other formularies of the Přemyslidian period, Sankt-Paul Formulary, Formulary of the Queen Kunhuta and the formularies of the bishop's chancellery (mainly Formulary of Tobias of Bechyně ).
