Abstract
The case report presents a 54 years old patient with the recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus, it describes the changes of therapy during the first year since the diagnosis - the withdrawal of prandial analogue, the change of basal insulin and it assess the effect of those changes on a safety of the treatment.
