Anticoagulation therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation and cerebral amyloid angiopathy COMMENT

Abstract

Each of our patients with cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) and atrial fibrillation has an Achilles heel. For most of them, both conditions are, for some, it is a risk of ischemia, for others, rather, the risk of further intracerebral bleeding.

The question remains to discover an individual weakness and try to protect it.
