Abstract
This text deals with the issue of Comenius' idea of education. This idea is used for gaining the space "in-between", the difference to our own way of pedagogical thinking insofar as it starts from the modern sciences with its inherent metaphysics.
Then we are trying to elucidate some essential Comenius' principles as inspiring for our school and education. We are keen to argue, that it must be the idea of education, what is ruling, not the organization or the process of education.
