Abstract
Influenza is an acute viral disease that is especially risky for the elderly and polymorbid patients, however, it affects all ages. Whilstvery effective vaccination and specific antiviral drugs are available, symptomatic treatment remains the cornerstone.
Its specificaspects are the subject of this review article.
