On Language and Stylistic Competences of Future Teachers of Czech

Abstract

In our article we present a survey concerning language and stylistic proficiency of texts produced by the students of Czech language teaching programme for the higher grade of primary schools and secondary schools. We summarise the influence of communicative competences on the process of teaching.

Our article also briefly analyses Czech language teacher training programmes at Czech universities as far as the training of stylistic competences is concerned.
