Abstract
The text focuses on the acquisition of ownership to fruits. It presents the basic system of this institute compiled on the basis of norms preserved in the sources of law of ancient Rome and observes to what extent it is followed by civil codes in effect in the territory of the Czech Re-public from 1812 to the present.
It turns out that they did not pay enough attention to some questions and cause interpretative difficulties.
