Abstract
One of the possible adverse effect in various drugs is increased sensitivity to sun irradiation. It can manifest as a phototoxic orphotoallergic reaction.
Patients using high-risk medication should be educated about photoprotection. Measures of sun protectioninclude avoidance of exposure to the sun during midday, wearing photoprotective clothes and aplication of sunscreens.
