Abstrakt
Severe obstetric infections and septic conditions are increasingly becoming more and more important cause of maternal mortality worldwide. Authors in their paper are bringing a review of the latest knowledge about the causes, risk factors and the recommended management of serious infections in obstetrics.
According to internationals guidelines they postulate the guidelines for management of sepsis and septic shock in obstetrics. In a separate text practical suggestions are also postulated for some specific conditions of everyday practice and possibilities of preventing from serious consequences of sepsis.
