Abstract
Multiple sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, is a serious immunopathological disorder characterized by inflammatory involvement of structures of the central nervous system and neurodegenerative changes of the brain. Prevalence rises worldwide and affects especially younger people between the twenties and forties.
This long-term and disabling illness is associated with a reduced quality of life and a very high socio-economic impact.
