Abstract
The article describes the entry of the map from the Map Collection of the Faculty of Science in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register. It was included in 2017 among 78 new nominations.
It is a set of plans of the battle for Malta by Giovanni Francesco Camocio. 3 copies are in Maltese Cartographic Collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts. The second version was discovered in the Prague Digital map collection by Joseph Schiro, Head of the Department of preservation at Heritage Malta.
The originals are in excellent condition. The first joint exhibition was organized already in 2016 both in Malta and in the Czech Republic.
The certificates were handed to the representatives of the institutions by the Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic in April 2018.
