Musical-language Games to Support the Acquisition of Czech as a Foreign Language - Comment on the Workshop of the 59th AUCČJ Meeting on December 2, 2017

Abstract
The paper sums up the content of a pre-Christmas workshop. During the workshop, participants learned about the principles, content and form of musical activities, which are employed by the author during Czech as a second language lessons for pro-school children.
As a part of the workshop, the participants were looking for variations of these activities that would be suitable for other age groups and also tried leading some of the musical activities in practice. The article also contains a part of the handout, which is used by teachers during preparation for leading a musical activity, and sheet music and lyrics of songs useful for enhancing lessons of Czech as a second language.
