Instagram Beyond: Produsage as a Collaborative Aspect of a Social Media Photography

Abstract

I discuss here the issue of a social media photography using the comparison of the two most liked images on Instagram (Cristiano Ronaldo's Fourth Child's Birth Announcement; Kylie Jenner's Baby Name Announcement). Based on this comparison I demonstrate that a social media photography becomes a hypermedia never finished artefact that is being created by produsers and spread via its disseminated variabilities.
