Abstract
The article deals with the preparation, enforcement and valid actual text of Nature and Landscape Protection Act (No. 114/1992 Coll.), after 25 years of existence. There is description of historical consequence as well as relations with other substantive acts - construction act, forest act, fishing and hunting acts etc.
Special attention is given to the delictual (especial penal) liability in this domains. Last but not least is the article focused on the system of nature conservation authorities and their competencies, especially in the everyday practice.
