Didactic grammar as a source of recognition and inspiration

Abstract

We distinguish various sorts of grammar, for example synchronous and diachronous, semasiological and onomasiological, descriptive and prescriptive, etc. In field of teaching foreign languages we have didactic grammar which focuses on a language from a perspective of a non-native speaker.

Thanks to its special focus, didactic grammar brings its own findings about a foreign language grammar.
