Starting Points for a New Physics Curriculum : the First Outcomes of a Literature Review

Abstract

This contribution deals with the first outcomes of a literature review which comprises curriculum and its transformations. The review is focused on reforms of physics curriculum but attention is also paid to science curriculum and to education at all.

This is the first step in effort to design a methodology for a creation of a new physics curriculum (appropriate especially for Czech lower and upper secondary schools) and then use this methodology for this purpose. In this paper, special attention is paid to the so called "math issue".
