Abstract
The text responds to passing of the famous Cambridge physicist Stephen Hawking and point out that the information about his political and social-economic views are absent in mainstream media articles. It mentions basic areas of Hawking's political commitment and notes that he was always adherer of the ideas left of the center.
It refers about Hawking's ideas on capitalism, social and health system, but especially about his attitudes on foreign policy, including his antiwar views.
