The purpose of this paper is to thematise the relation of medieval natural philosophy and theology in the context of European university education concretely at Prague University in 14th and 15th century. Natural philosophy created a curriculum of artistic faculty together with logic and ethics and necessarily was a part of methodological foundation at higher faculties.
Discords between natural philosophy and theology were substantial for the formation of new metaphysical, mathematical and physical conceptions. Prague pre-hussite University continues with the results of recent research and further evolves them.
The concrete analysis is demonstrated on the interpretation of quodlibetal question of Czech master Peter of Letovic.
