Abstrakt
Eva Kyselová's monography One Republic - One Theatre? A Dialogue of Slovak and Czech Drama 1918 - 1992 brings an original view and, at the same time, one of possible interpretations of dramatic theatre history of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. Turning points, formation of theatrical sceneries, key cultural events, dramaturgical lines and emblematic productions but, above all, the work of eminent members of drama are what the author follows in anticipated but also unexpected connections.
