Abstract
The article focuses on teaching and learning foreign languages in a multicultural environment. The number of foreign students enrolling in Czech universities is growing and presses teachers of humanities to change their teaching methods and adapt to face new challenges, to overcome language and cultural barriers.
The article analyses different approaches and methods - which might be applied when working with multicultural and multilingual student groups.
