Abstrakt
The importance of analysing the concept of love in Wilde's works was explained,main influences described and assessed. Two fundamental issues in examining love in general and as concept were then introduced: a lack of contemporary texts about love as a general notion and the problem of denfnining and distinguishing love from other emotions.
