Harmonization of Criminal Law in the Czech Republic in the Area of Criminalization of Attacks against Information Systems
Abstrakt
The different approach to the criminalization of attacks against information systems and associated inconsistent judging of crimes, the differences in national laws on criminal procedure as well as the considerable pace of development in the field of information technologies facilitating attacks against information systems lead to the need of harmonization of the laws and regulations of the EU member states, which would enable the effectiveness of the fight against this kind of criminality. This contribution follows up the reasons and the legal framework of cooperation in the fight against attacks against information systems at European level and points out how the criminal legislation in the Czech Republic dealt with requirement of harmonization.
