Tomáš Petrácek, Power and Exploitation in the Czech Lands in the 10th-12th Centuries

Abstrakt

Review reflexts the important book of Tomáš Petráček. The author is interested above all in the structure of the lowest strata of the population of early medieval Bohemia (early Middle Ages traditionally stretch until the early thirteenth century) and the strategy of the exploitation of their labor by the ruling apparatus.
