Abstrakt
I attended the 26. GESUS-Kongress "Traditionen und Erneuerungen", which took place between 4.4.2018 - 7.4.2018 in Montpellier.
I had a paper in the section "Historische Linguistik" led by Bela Brogyanyi and Dr. Reiner Lipp Link: http://gesus2018montpellier.com/ The paper with the title "Preliminary notes on Romani Etymological Dictionary" was presented on 5. 4. 2018 (see programme under the link above).
The presentation was followed by a series of questions and discussion which offered a welcomed feedback and which will be in the future incorporated in the future work. In the breaks and after each panel, there was a space to discuss various topics with present scholars from different fields of historical linguistics and single philologies.
These were, for example, Prof. Dr.
Rosemarie Lühr (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Prof. RNDr.
Václav Blažek CSc. and PhDr. Ondřej Šefčík, Ph.D. (Masarykova Univerzita v Brně), M.A Reiner Lipp Ph.D. (Univerzita Karlova v Praze), Barbora Machajdíková (Universitas Comeniana) and many others.
I also met and proposed cooperation to other present researchers from abroad, which can be a big advantage and may help further development of my work as well as the cooperation between Faculty of Arts and other Universities in foreign countries.
