The essay deals with a contract based on which Count F. A. Špork bought from Dvůr Králové nad Labem the so-called Nový les in 1717, where later one of the most important monuments of the Czech Baroque, "Betlém", was established.
It examines the legal aspect of contact, from the position of the parties, through the treatment of the actual act of sale to the form of the contract it is editing. The text looks into the insurance habits of contractors who are (not) involved the contract in their "usual" legal books and affect other property rights of the territory (unrealized shift of its part in 1725, unsuccessful reluction in 1744 and expropriation by the state in 1948).
