The article summarizes basic findings of a questionnaire survey conducted at the Faculty of Law, Charles University in the academic year 2016/2017 among more than a thousand current faculty students. The research focused on how law students of the first, third and fifth year of the faculty perceive the quality, difficulty and usefulness of their studies, what is the greatest study motivation for the students, what are their knowledge, skills and attitudes and what helps them to expand their knowledge and skills.
