Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to analyse not only the development and extent of codification of Czechoslovak criminal law implemented in pursuance of the fundamental reconstruction of the legal order after 1948, but also to describe the law-making in the field of criminal law implemented shortly after the power take-over conducted by the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
