The article deals with various aspects of probationary period, ranging from agreement on probationary period and its term and prolongation while the biggest part is focused on employment termination during a probationary period. It analyses requirements of such termination including its form and delivery to the other party of an employment contract as well as limited possibility of the termination under certain circumstances.
The author also points out frequent faults that occur in practice and that may lead to invalidity or even non-existence of the employment termination.
