Abstrakt
The conference took place on 16th February 2018 at the Ibero-American Studies Center of the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University. The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of of Contemporary History of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
The aim of the conference was to explore the ways in which gender engages the discourse and power, and in the broader sense also how it influenced and shaped human lives. The conference focused primarily on cases where the power was formed and legitimized through the interaction between gender discourses and belief systems.
