Abstract
The aim of the lecture was to introduce the gender aspects of reconciling personal, family and working life, ie specific situations, their forms and wider implications for the life of women and men. The mainly addressed questions included the parenthood issues for women and men, the roles of women and men in society and working life, current patterns and involvement of men in childcare, care of other people and household chores and the employers' policies in these areas.
