The article describes teachers' experience with a project dealing with life and work of famous scientists: Pupils create a medial product (video, radio broadcast, cartoon...) presenting an important biologist, chemist or phycisist in his or her native language. The article describes also a study which monitored pupils' view of the role of history of science at school and their experience with it.
Its results show that pupils are aware of benefits of learning history of science though their experiences with this topic are quite limited.
