Early detection chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in risk populations in the Czech Republic (protocol of new multicentric pilot project of the institute for healthcare information and statistics for the period of 2018-2018)

Abstract
The realisation of the pilot project has the goal of preparing a methodology of early detection in the real conditions of the current healthcare system and its pilot multicentric testing (2018-2020) on a sufficiently sized sample of people (7000 symptomatic individuals without any pulmonary diagnosis). The result of this will be an evaluation of effectiveness of the designed methodology, realisation of early COPD de tection in the defined group of patients and preparing recommendations for a further, nationwide programme of early detection of COPD in defined risk populations.
