Abstract

The year 1968 was a watershed moment in global history that captures our imagination to this day. Its memory not only serves as a symbol for culmination of the various countercultural and protest movements of the 1960s, but also includes the eventual traumatic suppression by conservative authorities, from Chicago to Mexico City, Paris and Prague.
